Spark ensures that all coaches have relevant qualifications to their role and are DBS checked before any contact with children begins, all coaches are insured under their own national giverning bodies insurance as well as Sparks Public Liabilty Insurance. All relevant documents are available upon request.
No. Bookings must be made during the bookings window. We will always do our best to include any children but this needs to be discussed with a member of Spark staff beforehand.
No. The after schools club are only available to the children from that particular school.
All equipment will be provided other than those clubs that require safety equipemt eg. shin pads and/or gum shields. This will be communicated to you at the point of booking. If your child wishes to bring in a peice of equipment from home e.g. tennis racket/hockey stick, then that is fine as long as it is named. Spark will not accept and responsibilty for damge or loss to these items.
Spark will never pass information on the external organisations. Our website is secured with an SSL Certificate (https). An SSL Certificate secures all of your data as it is passed from your browser to the website's server.
All payment details are stored and processed by Sagepay and Spark does not have access to your details
We are always looking for great new additions to our team, whether you are only available to run an after school club or looking for part/full time we would love to hear from you.
Providing that cancelations have been made within the Spark bookings terms and conditions then a full refund or credit can be offered.
If a club is full then you will not be able to book your child onto it, you will also recieve a confirmation email once payment has been processed.
Your child will need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor games and arts. They will also need a morning snack, lunch and plenty to drink. Weather appropriate coats, sun cream and sun hats also need to be packed depending on what time of the year your holiday club is. Although you may need all of the above at any point!
Please report absenses to the club coach. If a child doesn't arrive at a club then the school will be notifies immediately and a search will be carried out to find them, a phone call home will also take place to ensure that your child is safe. These searches do cause discruption so please let the coaches know If your child is not attending. If your child is absent from school then we can check with the school and establish that quickly, in this circumsance you do not need to report the absense to Spark as well.
We will make every effort to get outside, however every now and again we have to accept defeat and stay inside. If an approriate space is not available inside to conduct the activity then a class room based activity will be run. We do not cancel clubs because of the weather (we are in Britain after all), a coach will always provide a session.
We are comitted to providing high quality and safe provision for the children in our care. We are currently going through the process of becoming Ofsted registered and will update this when the process has been completed.
We are currently unable to accept childcare vouchers. When our Ofsted registration has been completed then we will be able to accept these.
